Filling and sealing machine compatible with Lavazza Pod

EXPAK strive to create and design automation equipment for filling ground coffee and seal by foil lid or roll film. Operator just adjust and control machine and turn on or off on touch screen. Since 2010, we proudly complete auto capsule sorting system, in-line check weight with dumper, in-line flavor coffee capsules solution, Nitrogen injection, remote control dial in and offer secondary packaging which is completely packaging line.

CP linear series for Lavazza, including Lavazza Blue, Lavazza Modo Mio, and Espresso Point. Models after the upgrade of technology and the continuous updating of the program, designed for all in, entrance, medium and large production output. Linear machine in a compact occupation, especially suit for the client own the small workshop.

We do support like customized solution for client’s requirement and including secondary packaging as the Cartoner for Lavazza Pod，and wrapper for Lavazza Point as individual pod with bagged.

Our design team and engineers give this series more variability, more advanced ideas, from single lane to multi-lane. Of course we give our suggestions according to the condition of customer.

The model can be able to equip with a Pump to add spicy which is different aroma, a drop of liquid flavors after coffee filled, this way can prevent from crossing contamination when change to another flavor capsule, this is easier solution to produce various types of capsule and needn’t clean but change air hose.

Working Process

• Auto capsule sorting system and horizontal cup feeder
• Grabber place empty Lavazza capsule in the conveyor tray
• Servo motor controls auger spin to fill ground coffee
• Online cutting a lid from roll film and preheat
• Secondary heat seal
• Take out finished pod

We equip agitators in the hopper in order to coffee on a flow condition constantly and average.

And consider from the perspective of operator, we build a small plexiglass window to check situation inside and an induction can detect amount of coffee.

 

Operator could set and adjust weight separately look through the feedback on the SCHNEIDER touch screen HMI.

And operator has an assistant which is “broadcast” alarm system when cup is lacked, lid needs added, coffee is lower the level sensor etc.

 

The important technology of this machine is online cutting and sealing, and more options like weight-checking function, remote controlling, flavor pump and connect with Cartoner.

 

Robot grab out the finished pod on the conveyor, it could reject incorrect pod and pass good one if you select weight-checking function.

We choose to cooperate with more reliable and well-known parts manufacturers to ensure the quality of our products, including the convenience of later parts replacement, such as like PLC from Schneider, temperature system from Omron. And many detectors from Panasonic, SICK etc.
