This cleans the capsule edge and can be better to be sealed. All grounds and dust will be taken into a filter collecting bag that we prepared connect with this station by a special tube.

  • Online Cutting and Sealing

For Nespresso type capsule production, we are suggesting the way of online cutting roll foil to get a lid to place top of cup, circular blade import from Italy cut on roll foil to make a lid to press on top of capsule cup, first heater starts preliminary sealing follow cutting down immediately, so the shape and location of lid can be confirmed by this system, then move to a second heater and guarantees a better sealing. Also with detector between first seal and second seal to inspect the lid placed for second sealing.

On the roll film cut seal station, film roll is controlled by serve motor and can fulfill the accuracy of pulling and retracting, and meanwhile, under our continuous debugging, prevent a possibility of film break. At a constant speed, the unused film is continuously pulled out, and the waste film is collected by the roller, which is convenient recycle and take out.

As it is mechanical system to lift up and convey, not using air system, so it guarantees better coffee quality by saving coffee’s aroma.

Note: recommended for espresso coffee including Nespresso as coffee is very fine grinding so by air conveyor system will expand the oxygen reaction and lose most of the great aroma while this screw auger system will keep the nice smell aroma of coffee so as to make good espresso capsule.

As this is online dosing into each capsule, not related with filling or hopper, so you just need to change different hose for different flavors and they never mix.

  • Remote Control

With internet connection (CABLE connection preferred), help customer a lot for customer of any location, USA or EURO or Africa as long as internet is connected:Real Time Support Without Delay;Remote diagnose problems;Program upgrades online to reach customize or new functions;Machine running condition and regular maintenance remind.

NA-2: Nespresso aluminum capsule with rubber ring

Nestle has removed the waterproof device from their coffee machine since 2013, instead they add a patent coating around the capsules in order to protect their capsules. So we add the rubber ring function as the coating to make sure the capsules can be normally working in Nestle’s coffee machine. If your aim market is Nestle’s original users, you may need the rubber ring type.

NA-1: Nespresso aluminum capsule without rubber ring

FAQ of Nespresso capsule filling production

There are some steps to finish the Nespresso capsule, Expak would give you methods to complete.

First is choose an empty capsule that you want to use, this is the most important decision when you start the Nespresso business.

We suggest aluminum or compostable coffee capsule, these two are the main directions you should go to, for higher product type, aluminum looks best with its natural metal shiny color and is best material to keep fresh and it is recycled, while compostable capsule is recognized as a fully eco-friendly than biodegradable’s and accepted as the future. If you need further information, welcome to ask our packaging material expert Julie.

Second is how do you like the lidding solution, mainly as two ways, one is precut lid, usually as printed with some colors, but as Nespresso is small capsule and lids is small, so we would recommend to use the second type, which is online roll film cutting type. This require the filling sealing machine be more complicated but this could offer longer time continues production. You can buy this material from China, whether it is by precut lids or film roll type. No matter it is roll film or precut lid, twice sealing is always better. (Why is multi-stage sealing better?)

Third, you need to choose your coffee and blend it, as Nespresso is espresso type coffee, so usually it is mixed.

Fourth, grinding is important. Grinding is so important however, we did not list it as number one because you have to go with something you can afford. We would say roller grinder is must, however, roller grinders are expensive, the ideal solution would be 3stage or even 4 stage roller grinders, with water chiller and the density controller. a smarter way is burr grinder on the top and then put a two stage grinder bottom. If you start with burr grinder, it is ok, but always have in your mind, you need roller grinder for Nespresso business.

Last is you need a good filler sealer machine, when all material is done, now you need a good chief to make it out, so this is significant step that auto filling ground coffee into capsule, you just set the weight of coffee granule on the touch screen, accuracy is point for Nespresso pod filler. Also ensure the nitrogen flush function is on the Nespresso capsule filler, to keep coffee aroma and fresh even it is in store a year, that becomes an advantage of your product.

Expak offers you good machine of high quality Nespresso capsule filling and packaging machines and we also accept customized order to customize every machine upon each customer, also we can provide as well Empty coffee capsule compatible Nespresso coffee maker and roll foil or printed lid with customized logo.

There is a convenient way to purchase refillable espresso capsule compatible Nespresso made from stainless steel, you just fill up this pod with your own ground coffee, buckle tamp it, then put it into holder of Nespresso coffee machine. It is easier to reuse because stainless steel material is safe and it has a special lid cap which can easy open and close.

Yes, you can! For mass production Expak offer Nespresso capsule filler and sealer production, coffee capsule compatible Nespresso coffee machine and lid even printed customized logo.

You can take a batch of capsule and lid, prepare ground coffee, we offer different automated Nespresso capsule fillers to finish place cup, fill coffee, place lid, seal.

If you just want a small equipment can finish sealing, or make some experiments, we can provide semi-automatic Nespresso capsule sealer to accomplish.

Click here to go to this manual sealer machine.

If you want something at home and don’t want to any equipment but just want some fun, use the refill type capsule such as stainless steel ones and it will work fine.

Normally, there are some fine ground coffee in a weight of 5.5g (Nespresso original is 5.6g), either single origin or blend bean. Most of them are Arabica coffee but also with Robusta to reach the crema. For the special flavors, there are also flavoring mixed but we don’t suggest those if you just want coffee.

Aluminum and plastic. Plastic has two branch as regular plastic of recycle like PP, or the current new as compostable type.

Nestle Nespresso original (and other few) take aluminum capsule protects the coffee. Aluminum material is hygienic, completely recyclable and couldn’t influence the taste, this is same idea we used tin can to pack meat since WW2.

And the plastic side, nowadays, compostable type is more popular than biodegradable type as a completely eco-friendly material to pack coffee.

While if you do some low end, or tea-leaf, which not require very high barrier feature on your capsule, then PP regular plastic capsule is ok, and some of roasters use an extra bag to pack 10pcs coffee capsule, because the capsule is not able to keep it fresh so not a better ideal to keep aroma, so it must be wrapped with a small bag usually aluminum coated.

A lot of customers will ask, how to choose a capsule material when I decide to produce the Nespresso capsules? Actually it depends on many aspects.

First we will say Aluminum capsule will be more difficult than plastic one, because There is a raised bead at the seal of the aluminum capsule. It’s not as flat as the plastic capsule’s sealing area. So this will require smaller sealing foil lids and there are also higher requirements for the sealing machine, which will require the machine to make a more precise sealing operation.

Second is for the fancy looking, if you have enough budget and would like to produce the high standard capsules, Aluminum will be your better choice. If you have limited budget and want to chase economical solution, plastic will be more price friendly.

It depends on the market tier you are targeting. As we all know, aluminum capsules are more advanced in appearance and have a noble and elegant feeling. Therefore, if your target market is mid-to-high-end customers, it is recommended that you consider aluminum capsules. At the same time, aluminum capsules have higher requirements for production and are technically more difficult. Therefore, if you have sufficient funds to support your purchase of more professional equipment, you can also consider aluminum capsules. After all, it can sell for a good price.

If the market you are targeting is ordinary users, it is recommended that you consider plastic capsules, which are low-cost, high-quality and inexpensive, and have low thresholds for starters, making it easier to start production. We now also have plastic capsules with beautiful appearance to choose from, improving the design of the secondary packaging carton in the shape can also achieve the effect of improving the product level.

It depends on what form of filling and sealing machine you are using. From the European production experience, the roll film form is more professional and more efficient, which can effectively save material costs and speed up the production process. Therefore, for powerful customers, we will recommend the use of roll film solutions.

However, if you do not consider large-scale mass production in the early stage, we think it is feasible to choose the film solution. You can use cheaper equipment to carry out small-scale production faster, or even use semi-automatic manual solutions. . Sheet films are also more convenient to handle as sample tests.

Knowledge about Nespresso

  • Culture of Nespresso capsule

Define: Nespresso coffee capsule is ground coffee inside capsule made from aluminum. Some roasters launched coffee capsule made of compostable or PP plastic both compatible Nespresso coffee machine. The capsule has a foil to cover on the top. Nespresso coffee capsules take vacuum system packed to avoid excess gas such as oxygen etc.

Let us explore the history of Nespresso Coffee Capsule:

The Nespresso coffee capsule started in 1986 by Nestlé. Nestlé engineer Eric Favre came up with this thought after visited a popular Italian espresso store. He noticed that the barista kept pulling the handle on the espresso machine to increase the pressure to adjust extraction

Until 1986, Favre carry out the project, created a simple coffee maker that imitated the pressure of espresso machine. The machine created pressure system to water and coffee to achieve a cup of espresso with strong crema layer. Later 1986 the first generation Nespresso coffee machine had a patent and trademarked by Nestle

Nestle initially launched their machines as an all-in-one, convenient coffee machine for using in office buildings. afterwards, they realized persons in many offices in Switzerland and Japan haven’t any interest in four different Nespresso capsule types.

Jean-Paul Gaillard joined Nespresso and change the marketing strategy for Nespresso coffee machines. Repositioning the product as a business to sell to household consumers as a luxury. Amazing that Paul even rise 50% for each capsule in price than it before. Business started to take off after Gaillard revolution.

  • Is Nespresso real coffee?

Definitely yes, roasted coffee is grinded to ground coffee and packed into each Nespresso capsule. You can choose light, medium or dark degree according to your preference, flavor coffee is also available in the market but most of it is real coffee inside.

  • Is Nespresso a genuine coffee?

I’m afraid the answer is definitely YES. The Nespresso story began with a simple but revolutionary idea: enable anyone to create the perfect cup of coffee – just like a skilled barista. From its beginning 30 years ago, the Nespresso brand concept has redefined and revolutionized the way millions of people enjoy their coffee today and has shaped the global coffee culture. Nespresso has evolved from the pioneer and trendsetter into the reference in the portioned coffee segment through a singular focus on delivering the ultimate coffee experience to consumers cup after cup. Although coffee is at the heart of all we do, consumer pleasure is why we do it. This focus is the cornerstone upon which the company was created and the foundation that has fostered the incredible growth that our brand has enjoyed over the last 30 years. The Nespresso history is marked by our passion for perfection and track record of continuous innovation to consistently deliver the highest quality coffee tasting experience to consumers worldwide. • Does Nespresso have decaffeinated coffee?

Of course, decaffeinated blends are in original and Vertuo range these two versions. Including two versions with different blends for many coffee drinkers who need decaffeinate beverage, and on Nespresso original capsules, there is a small red dot in the middle of the capsule bottom, so you can easily recognize it.

But volume of caffeine is a difference between different Nespresso pod. For example, Nespresso espressos have over 50 mg caffeine and lungos beyond 60mg caffeine.

  • Pros of Nespresso coffee pods?
  • Single-cup coffee
  • Precise ingredients
  • Endless variety
  • Pure simplicity
  • The steps to create best taste Nespresso coffee

The alchemy of coffee: how to deliver the highest quality, time and time again

We know that increasingly, more and more people have a desire to become coffee connoisseurs, to know more about the coffee they consume and how it was farmed, blended and transported for their daily morning cup. To fill you in, we’ve created a step by step guide revealing what happens behind the scenes right from where it all begins, in the country of origin.

  • It all starts with a little cherry.

The origin that has nurtured the coffee plant, including soil, water, sun and the care of farmers, will play a large role in the aroma and characteristic of coffee. With time, the natural alchemy gives rise to a cherry containing two beans which will eventually reveal a unique aroma and flavour.

  • Tropical climates are key.

Coffee is grown in the soils of what is known as the bean belt, nurtured by the warm temperatures and thriving on abundant rainfall. Throughout the year, Nespresso Coffee Experts travel the world in search of the finest coffee beans from key coffee regions in South America, Asia and Africa. And it’s never a finite process. Year after year, our experts discover new origins where we can source from.

  • Hand-picking cherries is pivotal.

We work with farmers to educate them on the benefits of hand picking as ultimately, this leads to higher quality which in turns ensures a premium price for the coffee they sell. This handpicking means that only the ripe, best tasting coffee is harvested.

  • Transforming the cherry to green coffee.

Nespresso uses a variety of natural methods to remove the coffee bean from the cherry. You have to keep in the end in mind when applying a wet or dry process as each will impact the flavours and the aromas of the coffee differently. For example, the dry method gives the coffee a sweeter taste whereas the wet method brings out delicate fruity notes.

  • Creating a unique blend.

Once the coffee has been transported and undergone strict quality control at the farm and in our production centre in Switzerland, we begin to blend. The composition of a blend involves some serious science. First, we select certain coffee origins for their particular characteristics: aroma, finesse, quality of crema and the after-taste. We then combine them to intensify their individual characteristics.

  • My favourite part – roasting.

Roasting is vital to dehydration which creates unique coffee flavours, revealing the full aromatic and flavour profile of the green beans. With heat, the coffee bean expands and the caffeine content increases. The acidity and body develop slowly, and then diminish, while aromas reach their optimum quickly before decreasing. Nespresso uses the technique of split roasting in some blends, meaning we roast each origin separately to allow them to develop their full potential. This technique, in my opinion, offers incomparable results.

  • Grinding to create a powder.

Grinding increases the surface area of the coffee in contact with oxygen and the coffee risks losing its aromas quickly. It is therefore carried out in a deoxygenated environment. The coffee is placed into a grinder and the degree of grinding is calculated to suit the particular blend of coffee. Accurate and consistent grinding is imperative and is about the right balance between various attributes that we wish to bring out: acidity, bitterness, body and aromatic notes. The grinding process affects the flow time when preparing your coffee. For example, the more finely ground the coffee, the slower the speed with which water will pass through it meaning the more full bodied and bitter the taste will be.

  • The 6 Advantages Of Preparing Your Coffee With Nespresso Coffee Pods

Nespresso machines together with Pods Compatible with Nespresso Machines are getting immensely prominent these days. Why not? These food items offer people with the advantage to quickly prepare a fresh cup of coffee without the need for mixing extra ingredients. Apart from convenience, there are more advantages these particular goods offer. Learn some of them as you browse this selection.

  • Nespresso coffee pods offer single-cup portions.
  • Each coffee pod has precise ingredients.
  • Coffee pods provide a uniform taste.
  • Nespresso compatible coffee pods have different flavours.
  • Preparing coffee from pods is easy.
  • Coffee pods and Nespresso Machines make cleaning simple.
  • How long is the expiration date of Nespresso capsules?

The expiration date of coffee pod is nearly 12 months from production date, the production date and expiration date is printed on the side of paper carton.

The coffee actually can drink without health problem after the expiration date but better not beyond a half year, it certainly aroma would lose slightly, and taste it not very well comparison of taste at the beginning. So that is most coffee roasters to recommend “best tasting in shelf life”.

  • Can a Nespresso capsule be used twice?

Yes, and no. if you want coffee, then no. but if you want to ask then you can make it work twice, but really don’t recommend that Nespresso capsules be used twice for second cup. The crema, aroma and tasty are lesser than first. The only condition I would say is, use a lungo capsule, then do two shots on this same capsule so you can have two espressos and share with somebody when you really on have one capsule.

  • Do the Nespresso pod fit in all Nespresso coffee machines?

Yes. Nespresso coffee machine is the most ones available in the market, and because the high quality, they last longer. So anybody wants to enter this market, they must guarantee the capsule is compatible with the Nespresso machines first.

  • Do the Nespresso capsule contain allergens?

All of Nespresso capsules don’t contain any allergens like nuts, gluten etc.

Some of capsules contain flavors comes from food extract such as chocolate, caramel. But absolutely don’t any actual ingredients.

  • What is difference between Nespresso original line home capsule and ESE paper pod?

Nespresso is not the only capsule on the market, and if we put paper pod as capsule, Nespresso is not even the first capsule. Because Capsules are the same concept as pods in that they are pre-packaged, measured doses of standard coffee. They are contained within a ‘capsule’ that once used you must dispose of.

Coffee Pod or Pad: These are similar in style, with the pod being slightly smaller and firmer.

Coffee Capsule: The capsule can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Checking that it is compatible with your machine is important to ensure it works.

  • First and most important, Nespresso is self-fresh just packed in a paper box, while paper pod need to be wrap packed and once you open the bag, you have to use the pod because it cannot keep fresh by itself.
  • Extraction, coffee pod has a better extraction than Nespresso capsule due to coffee pod is complete in a paper filter packed and have larger surface can contact coffee.
  • pod has less packaging cost (paper filter) than Nespresso capsule with aluminum material.
  • Pricing, pod is a little more expensive (about 20%) than Nespresso home capsule, it has more coffee inside usually as 7-8gram while Nespresso is 5.6g.
  • Blends to choose, Nespresso original line capsule has more options for Coffee Machines than pod ones.
  • Nespresso has more flavors, coffee blends, roast options than coffee pod, for example, Nespresso now also with singe origin coffee.
  • Coffee pod is a little outdated and now become not easy to buy as not popular in the market, that is not convenient for drinkers who like drinking coffee pod.

One last thing, but we believe also being very different in the two system, Nespresso machine is cheaper and quite standard controlled quality in the coffee it can brew, while if you use pod, you need espresso machine, you have the face a situation that, cheap models not making a good coffee and premium espresso machine is much more expensive than Nespresso machines. I would comment this is another big advantage of Nespresso system.

  • Can you use non-Nespresso pods in a Nespresso machine?

For a long time, the answer was no. Because Nestlé, the company that makes Nespresso coffee, has been working to prevent third-party coffee companies from making pods that are compatible with Nespresso machines. They do this primarily by removing warranties for customers who use non-Nespresso branded capsules in their machines.

In fact, Nespresso coffee machines have been around for a long time. So how can the company prevent third-party coffee capsules from invading the market in the long term? We can’t say for sure, but we do have a hunch: the fact that Nespresso has long avoided potential boycotts from third-party coffee companies may be that Nespresso’s customers are happy to keep buying Nespresso capsules. Because not only does Nespresso offer a variety of capsule options in a variety of flavors, strengths, and regional origins, but every option seems to produce top-quality coffee. This is very attractive for coffee lovers.

But now, thanks to some intervention from French antitrust regulators in 2014, the market is opening up to third-party Nespresso-compatible coffee capsules (source). So, now to answer the question more directly, the answer has changed: yes, you can use non-Nespresso branded capsules in Original Line Nespresso coffee machines.

  • Introduction of different Nespresso coffee machine

Nestlé has 3 capsule systems, Nespresso (including two subsystems) and Dolce Gusto. Nespresso focuses on black coffee, and different capsules mainly correspond to different origins, production areas, processing methods, roasting, etc.

Dolce Gusto focuses on flavored coffees, such as vanilla mocha, caramel macchiato, and more of the flavors you’ll find at Starbucks.

Difference between Vertuo (next plus) and Original

Original capsules have only one size, and each capsule is filled with powder of about 5-6g, mainly for making Espresso.

Vertuo is available in three capsule sizes with powder fillings of 7.5g, 10.5g and 13g.

Conclusion for Original line

  • Most welcomed Original Line
  1. If you only drink espresso, or sometimes want some milk, then Nespresso OriginalLine should be your choice, its machine is tiny, cheaper and fits home better. You could also have more different options to buy, including compatible type from different brands, Starbucks, and Nespresso original offer a lot for you and also come up a lot new products you can try with.
  1. About Nespresso OriginalLine coffee machines, we have some suggestion you can consider:
  • Basic models are good enough, like Essensa Mini or Inissia, they are cheaper and function is same, for young people like students, you would love the colors and I bet you would take it when you graduated and move to a new place, because they are same durable quality. If your budget allows, then you can choose the Pixie and Citiz, which use more metal so it has a more durable rack outside, also, more important is, these two higher models are more quite during making the coffee if you compare with the basic models of Inissia and Mini models, however, the Citiz is a little bigger and heavier, Pixie is smaller and you can also replace its side panels of different colors, this is my favorite.
  • Same as the VertuoLine, you can also buy extra the milk frother mug, Aeroccino to add your froth milk in your coffee. But Lattissima is a special model that can automatic add froth milk to your cup, but remember to clean the milk tank.
  • Creatista is a special model that has the steam pump wand, however, it is too expensive to buy so we don’t recommend, only if you want Nespresso, but also want to have fun with the steam wand. Just always remember, the coffee you get is decided by the capsule you put into the machine, not the machine makes the different coffee, so it is actually same coffee whether you use the basic inissia mini models, or the expensive Creatista machine, it is same.
  • Who should not buy Nespresso?
  1. If you are a pure black coffee as pour-over lover, then both Nespresso cannot give you the black coffee you need because the espresso is not strong enough and you cannot add water to make a black coffee like coffee shops do, probably kcup machines is better.
  2. If you expect a real espresso as strong and bold, high quality like coffee shops could buy, never expect that to be produced from your Nespresso machines, neither OriginalLine or the VertuoLine is able to offer that, reason is simple, just not enough coffee in this small capsule.

  3. VertuoLine also fits small office, you could impress your visitors as it makes fresh cup of coffee, something like a professional espresso, but you don’t need a pro espresso machine in your office and someone to make the coffee, but also stronger than home Nespresso Original Line machine can make.

  • Stability of taste

Have you ever noticed that when you like a certain flavor of coffee, even though you use that bean every time, sometimes it doesn’t taste the same, this is because I cannot guarantee the accuracy of each step when brewing coffee, including brewing time, grinding, brewing water volume, etc., but using Nespresso pods will not have this problem, the amount and factors of each coffee pod is same.

  • Flavor

There are many different flavors of Nespresso pod. When you want to mix coffee with different flavors, you just need to use capsules with different flavors into the coffee machine, wait for 20 seconds, and enjoy, but if you have different flavors of coffee beans every time, Want a big bag.

  • Do reusable Nespresso pods damage the machine?

You can buy Nespresso coffee machine in the supermarket like Costco, or purchase online at Coffee

In principle, reusable Nespresso capsules are safe to use in Nespresso machines. The premise is that it is very important to use the correct capsules for your specific Nespresso model, as using the wrong capsules can cause damage to the machine or void the machine warranty.

As we all know, there are many types of Nespresso and other coffee machines on the market, and all of them have reusable coffee pods. This means it’s important to use the correct type of reusable coffee pods. Use only reusable pods that are compatible with your specific model of coffee maker. Using the incorrect pod for your machine may result in damage to the machine, or the pod may not work at all and produce no coffee at all.

When you’re investigating which reusable pods to use for your machine, be sure to have the year and model of your Nespresso machine ready to check the specifications of the reusable pods before buying.

The pods should be the same size as the original Nespresso beans used in your machine. Before using any reusable pods, compare them to the original pods to make sure they are the right shape and size for your Nespresso machine.

Every model of Nespresso coffee machine has a reusable pod, so just make sure you choose the right pod and it will work on your machine without any damage!

  • How often should you descale Nespresso?

Descale your machine every three months. Your Nespresso machine will need to be descaled about every three months.

  • How do you know if your Nespresso needs descaling?

We recommend descaling your Nespresso machine every two months. Because most of the water we use to brew coffee contains calcium chloride and magnesium chloride, they tend to adhere to the aluminum frame of the heating element inside the coffee machine, forming scale that is difficult to remove. This buildup of limescale can keep the machine from working the way it should. If you forget this simple cleanup procedure, parts of the device will wear out quickly. The coffee maker has stopped working properly, and that’s when you need to clean it up.

The aroma of delight that is Melozio just got a little lift. Get ready to welcome MELOZIO BOOST as your go-to choice to jump-start the day. As if the blend’s classic cereal note and honeyed sweetness wasn’t enough to win hearts, we gave the Brazilian Bourbon variety beans and the aromatic Central American Arabica beans an added boost.

Technology is ever evolving and to create our Boost coffees, we’ve taken the decaffeination process we use in a new direction to add extra caffeine to raise Melozio’s total caffeine content by 20%.

Once boosted, these coffees get the same split roast as Melozio—it develops the Brazilian Bourbon’s smooth cereal sweetness. Light roasting the Central American Arabicas rounds out this familiar blend. Adding this caffeine extract to Melozio doesn’t alter this heightened aroma of delight. Same great taste, extra boost!

  1. Intenso

Deep & Dense

Why we love it: Try Intenso – a Vertuo coffee that’s dense and dark as night but glowing with golden brown sugar notes. It’s a blend of Guatemalan Washed Robusta coffee beans and Latin American Arabica. It’s thick with roasted notes and has a lingering finish. We split roast the Nespresso Intenso blend. The Guatemalan coffee gets a long roast to develop the Robusta coffee beans’ bold and bitter notes. The Arabicas get a shorter, dark roast to lower the acidity and bring out that brown sugar aroma. It’s an intense long black with a distinctly lingering aftertaste and a thick coffee crema.

  1. Stormio

Rich & Strong

Why we love it: Stormio’s a darkly roasted blend that rushes in with this myriad of aromas. But that all that strength could come from pure Arabica coffees? They’re all high-grown Arabica coffees that we give that deep roast to build the rich intensity. But this Vertuo coffee pod remains smooth and full-bodied. Milk may mellow out Stormio – but you’ll still taste the powerful roasted notes that blow you away with a gathering storm.

It’s bold and it’s lively and it hits your palate with great elegance.

Conclusion of Taste

A cruel fact is that, Nespresso is more as a beverage not a real espresso, it is a solid coffee shot, and the crema is not a real crema but a foam cap which is made of air bubbles mixed with coffee oils.

Accepting that it is just an espresso-like beverage, you will still love it as easy to use, convenient everywhere yet real coffee made features and especially its varieties over hundreds you can buy from market.

VertuoLine is stronger than Original Line. But with less products. OriginalLine the original ones are good, not too much difference of its so-called names but just choose different kinds as espresso and lungo.

Master origin is Single origin coffee could be something like specialty coffee, maybe you can find something you like which is different than its past ones. (I like my new Ethiopia)

Flavored ones are not recommended, maybe you can just try, just don’t buy too many as they are not so natural and smooth.

Starbucks and other brands’ compatible ones are also very same to the original ones, you can try the certain lower price ones, but don’t buy the too cheap ones. The cost on each capsule material, packing labor is a certain basic cost, so when the price is too cheap, the coffee inside the capsule is very limited, and resulting in a horrible coffee and not to enjoy.

Aluminum capsules are generally better than the plastic capsules, because companies produce aluminum capsules are focus on higher quality end, so you can still find good ones in plastic capsules also. As long as you use the capsule not over one year then it is really not different whether it packed in aluminum or in plastic capsule.

Plastic Coffee Capsule compatible Nespresso coffee machine
Kimbo Espresso Napoli

A sweet and balanced coffee with soothing floral notes and freshly baked biscuits. This is a blend of the most noble varieties of Arabica and Robusta.

Kimbo Espresso Intenso

Dark roast coffee, as the best Naples tradition demands. The nose is intense, toasty and full-bodied, with a long-lasting aftertaste and hints of dark chocolate appetizing.

Gimoka Deciso

This extraordinary espresso brew provides a rich hazelnut cream and a rich aroma to awaken and reward the senses.

Conclusion:

After doing such a complete test with all the capsules making espressos, lungos and even some milk frothed latte and cappuccinos, we have to say Nespresso is the most tiny and convenient coffee capsule system yet!

you will love its simplicity and consistency, great choice at home every day coffee and the coffee machines are also significantly durable to use over years.

For most customers wants an espresso beverage, we recommend to choose the OriginalLine capsules, and for machines we believe basic models like Pixie or Essensa Mini is good enough.

Don’t forget to buy Aeroccino frother mug if you want to put some milk in the coffee.

For taste of the Nespresso capsules, don’t expect it too much, it will not disappoint you as it is so convenient and easy but it is not so bold real coffee. Original Nespresso is never wrong regardless of its pricing, and the Starbucks are also very same on that, besides those two, you can still try the other brands’ compatible ones to find something else, who knows, maybe a local roaster also pack Nespresso capsules just the coffee you love.

Among the compatible ones, aluminum ones are likely better than the plastic ones, but, notice don’t try those price too low ones(like 50%) as it will result in a bad coffee experience.

For North America customers, especially if you don’t have other machines like kcups, then the Vertuo is better as you could also make a big cup of bold joe. Vertuo coffee machines the different models are very same on functioning and pricing so just choose what you like.

Hope you enjoy the coffee and find the taste you want in this Nespresso guide tour.
